Portal: The Flash Version
Portal, a new release by Valve, is a game of puzzles n' portals. You, subject 15837, have the task of getting to the end of each room using a portal gun. This gadget creates a warp holes on a flat surface. Once you project two portals, you can jump through one to come flying out the other. Use the left mouse button to cast a portal and A, W, and D to move. Press Q to open the blue portal and E to open the yellow portal. To reset both portals, press R. The first few levels seem easy, but, as the game continues, the levels become more and more difficult.
Strategy Defense
Like playing Runescape, but hate the monotony of mining, cooking, and traveling? Strategy Defense captures the turn-based fighting style in a flash environment with a nice little trail to follow. As an archer, shoot down the corrupt king's guards with a combination of moving, waiting, and yes, fighting. Show these Link look-a-likes whose boss... without having to cook shrimp.
TBA
Uniquely made, TBA is an addicting game in which you must shoot a ball from cup to cup to reach the final destination, the red cup. It may sound easy, and well, it may even be easy at first, but you will soon find out how challenging TBA is. With a variety of colored cups acting in a variety of ways, you will soon find yourself "missing par" more often then you'd like. If you do become frustrated, take a quick stroll away from the computer, smash something invaluable, breathe some slow breaths and try again.
Indestruct 2 Tank
Indestruct 2 Tank is a surprisingly addictive game in which you control and invincible tank. This tank's only weakness is running out of gas. To play the game, you use the right and left arrow keys to move your vehicle around the playing field. As helicopters fly above you, they will drop missiles towards you. If you hit one of those missiles, the tank will be thrown into the air. While airborne, try to hit any enemies you can. If you happen to hit another missile or an enemy craft, you will be thrown back into the air. Stay in the air as long as possible to rack up big points!
Coffee Shop
If you like coffee and pleasing people, you'll love Coffee Shop! Working as a coffee stand owner, your objective is to sell as much coffee as possible. To do this, you must concoct the perfect coffee recipe, predict your customers' feelings, and buy enough ingredients (cups, coffee, milk, and sugar) to continue selling. Accumulate the most amount of money possible within two weeks and become the coffee guru of the world!
The Mind Bender
As the title says, this game will give your brain a challenge. Playing as this sweet little dude in a blue jumper, you must reach the triangle at the end of the level by jumping and moving boxes into especially convenient positions. On top of that (or is it to the right?...), in order to move these boxes you must use telekinesis...in a pretty bluish way. Master the art of jumping and landing and you'll do well in The Mind Bender. Oh, and some brain power would be helpful as well.
Red Wire
Success in Red Wire is measured by the amount of the player's steadiness, agility, and... patience capacity for failure. Move the glassless magnifying glass along the red path and reach the black heart (significance unknown) to complete the level. Steadying your instrument with the mouse and rotating it with the arrow keys, you must be dually conscious of your movements in order to keep from tapping the red wire, lest you explode in an orange cloud of dust! Conquer all twenty levels to prove your (patient) prowess.
Armor Picross 2
Tired of Sudoku? Try the new baffling number game, Armor Picross 2. The game is simply filling in little squares with your mouse, based on numbers written on the head of the column and row of the square you are filling in. If you're still confused, make sure to read the instructions. There are several bundles of puzzles, ranging in difficulty, built into the game, which means you can easily spend hours bending your mind to solve these difficult puzzles.
5 Differences
5 Differences is a surreal game in which you find five differences between two (nearly identical) parallel images. Be careful! This game minds your bend... I mean bends your mind... and eyes to their limit. As the levels progress, the differences are harder and harder to spot. The controls are simply using your mouse to click on the difference you see. Compliments to the artist and programmer! The pictures are really cool!
Fold
Fold is a game of breaking the laws of physics. "But how so?" you ask. Well, Fold is about reaching a goal at the end of every level. You do so by creating an orbular rift, which pushes you, an ant-like dude, in the direction you set when creating the anti-gravitator. Aside from the difficulty of actually getting to the end of each level, beware of giant gears and high heights. These can easily sap one of your lives!
